　７月２９日（火）東海市民体育館にて、第７９回愛知県中学校総合体育大会〈剣道の部〉が開催されました。個人戦において、女子２名が出場しました。

　部員全員で選手をサポートし、一丸となって挑みました。結果は、１回戦敗退と２回戦敗退でした。選手は「悔しい結果になりましたが、課題も見つかりました。次に向けて頑張ります。」と語りました。

　この大会を境に３年生から後輩へバトンが渡りました。これからも３年生が残してくれた「突破力」という言葉を胸に頑張っていきます。

On July 29th,the kendo club had a tournament in Aichi Prefecture at the gym of Tokai City.

Two girls joined the individual competition.One girl lost in the first round, and the other in the second round.They said,"Although the results were disappointing, we were able to identify some issues. We will do our best for the next tournament."

Third-year students will retire from club activities.First and second-year students will do their best with the words "breakthrough power" that the third-year students left behind in mind.

7月20日（日）に、ソフトテニス部男子の２ペアが、東三大会に出場してきました。

暑い中子どもたちは頑張りましたが、力及ばず１回戦敗退でした。

出場した生徒には、２年生が何人もいました。

今年の経験を活かして、今度は部活の最高学年として、テニス部を引っ張っていってほしいと思います。

On Sunday, July 20th, two pairs from the boys' soft tennis club took part in the Higashi Mikawa Tournament.

Despite the intense heat, the students gave it their all. Although they were unfortunately defeated in the first round, their effort was commendable.

Among the participants were several second-year students.
We hope that this valuable experience will serve them well, and that they will step up to lead the team as senior members in the coming year.

７月２４日、２５日に田原市総合体育館にて行われた東三大会に出場しました。

２４日には団体戦、２５日に行われた個人戦には９名が参加しました。

団体戦では、豊川西部中学校と戦いました。チーム一丸となって応援し、励ましあう姿が見られました。

粘り強い戦いを行いましたが、２－３で惜しくも敗れました。

個人戦は、それぞれが自分のベストを尽くそうとする姿が見られました。

結果は、ベスト１６に２名残ることができました。

たくさんの応援ありがとうございました。

また、遠いところ早朝より現地にて生徒たちに声援を送ってくださり、ありがとうございました。

On July 24th and 25th,the table tennis club had a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area at the gym in Tahara City.

They participated in the team competition on the 24th, and nine of them participated in the individual competition on the 25th.

In the team competition,they played against Toyokawa Seibu junior high school and lost 2-3.

In the indivifual competition,they played to their best and two of them made it to the top 16.

　７月１９日（土）と２０日（日）に、豊川市のＯＳＧドリームコートにて東三大会ソフトテニスの部が行われました。今年度の目標は、「郡大会で優勝し、東三大会で賞状をもらう」ことでした。その目標を胸に、またその目標を達成するためにはどうしたらいいのかを話し合い、日々の練習に励んできました。

　団体戦では、自分たちを信じて応援し合いました。惜しくも１回戦敗退となり悔しい思いをしましたが、次の個人戦へ気持ちを切り替えました。

　個人戦では、自分たちの試合に向けてアップをしながらも仲間の試合を見に行き、最後までエールを送り合いました。きっと、「今日がこのメンバーで参加する最後の大会になるのかもしれない。」という思いをもっている生徒もいたのだろうと思います。４ペアとも負けてしまいましたが、全力の熱いプレーを見せてくれました。達成感があったのか、試合後の表情はとても輝いていました。

　３年生はこれで部活動引退となります。夏の大会まで、たくさんのご声援ありがとうございました。１・２年生は３年生に教えてもらったことを生かしながら、さっそく８月２日（土）の郡新人戦に向けて取り組んでいます。今後とも、応援をよろしくお願いします。

On July 19th and 20th,the tennis club had a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area at OSG Dream Cort in Toyokawa City.Their goal was to win the Kitashitara County Tournament and receive a certificate at the Higashi Mikawa Tournament.

In the team competition, we lost in the first round.

Four pairs participated in the individual match, but lost. However, they played to their best and had a sense of accomplishment.

Third-year students will retire forom club activities.Thank you so much for all your support up until now.

The first and second year students will put what they have learned from the third year students to good use and work hard in preparation for the rookie tournament on August 2nd.

　７月２２日・２３日に蒲郡市民体育館にて、第７９回東三河中学校総合体育大会＜剣道の部＞が開催されました。

　本校の剣道部は「部活動の地域移行によって学校部活動をもとに結成されたチーム」であり、さらに「設楽中と豊根中の合同チーム」であり、しかも垂れネームのチーム名の表記が「チーム名」と同一である必要があるため、新たに垂れネームをつくる必要のない「津具」を使い、チーム名を「津具剣道クラブ」として参加することになりました。

　２２日は団体戦が行われました。男子チームが出場しました。豊根中学校の生徒が２名、設楽中学校の生徒が補欠を含め４名のチームです。豊橋の二川中学校と対戦しました。どちらも勝ち数１、引き分け３でしたが、得本数の差で惜しくも負けてしまいました。

　２３日は個人戦が行われました。本校の生徒は男子３名、女子２名が出場し、女子２名がそろって準決勝進出、３位入賞となりました。

　県大会は東海市民体育館で行われます。がんばってきます！

On July 22nd and 23rd,the kendo club had a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area at the gym in Gamagori City.

Boys joined the tournament as a joint team of Shitara junior high school and Toyone junior high school.They played against Futagawa junior high school and lost.

The two girls placed third in the individual competition.They will compete in the Aichi Prefectural Tournament at a gym in Tokai City.

７月１９日（土）豊川かわしんビクトリースタジアムで行われた東三大会に出場しました。

設楽中学校　１　－　１０　二川中学校（豊橋）

初回に先制され、すぐ裏の攻撃で１点を返しました。

随所でいいプレーも見られましたが、次第に離され５回コールドとなりました。

３年生は野球部を引退となります。野球を通して学んだことを今後に生かしてほしいと思います。

暑い中、早朝より送迎、応援ありがとうございました。これでしばらく駅伝部として活動します。

引き続き応援お願いします。

On July 19th,the beseball club had a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area at Kawashin Stadium in Toyokawa City.

They played against Futagawa junior high school and lost 1-10.They played well at times, but the game was called in the fifth inning.

Third-year students will retire from club activities.We hope they will use what they have learned through baseball in their future lives.

Thank you for coming to support them despite the heat.From now on, they will be active as the relay club for a while.

７月５日、田口高校において郡大会が開催されました。団体戦、個人戦ともに、生徒たちは自分のベストを尽くそうと取り組む姿が見られました。また、試合の中では生徒同士応援し合う姿も見られました。

結果は、

・団体戦...優勝、東三大会出場

・個人戦...１位、２位、３位２名を含め、計９人名が東三大会出場。

On July 5th,the Table Tennis club had a tournament in Kitashitara area.They tried to do their best.

In the team competition,they got first place.And they are going to join a tournament in HIgashi Mikawa area.

In the individual cometition,they got first,second,third places.Total 9 students are going to join the tournament.

北設楽郡中学校体育大会軟式野球の部

設楽中　１０　－　５　東栄中　　

見事、優勝することができました。

先制されましたがすぐに追いつき、４回には一挙６点を取り有利に試合を展開しました。

長打を打たれピンチを招く場面もありましたが、最後まで粘り強く守りました。

東三河大会は７月１９日（土）豊川で行われます。さらに暑さが増してきますが、応援よろしくお願いします。

The baseball club had a tournament in Kitashitara area.They played against Toei Junior High School and won 10-5.

Although Toei Junior High School scored the first point, they managed to turn the game around and take the lead.

They are going to join a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area on July 19th.Thank you for supporting and cheering.

　７月５日（土）と６日（日）に郡大会が行われました。試合の前には円陣をしてエールを行い、士気を高めました。始めは緊張している様子でしたが、今まで練習してきたことを思い出しながら精一杯プレーしました。

　団体戦は対東栄中学校と行いました。両校ともナイスプレーがたくさんあり、白熱した戦いが繰り広げられました。そして、部員１４名の心が一つになった応援で見事に優勝しました。７月１９日（土）に行われます東三大会にも出場します。

　個人戦では、設楽中から６ペアが出場しました。１年生にとっては初めての公式戦なのでとても緊張しているようでしたが、１本を諦めないプレーをしました。悔しい思いをしましたが、その思いを胸にまた日々の部活動を頑張っています。２、３年生は自分たちから声を出して気分を高め、前向きにプレーしました。「勝ちたい」という思いがひしひしと伝わってくる強気なプレーが見られました。結果は、優勝と３位を始め、全４ペアが東三大会出場を決めています。

　暑い中、ご声援ありがとうございました。東三大会でも設楽中らしいプレー・応援ができるように頑張ります！！

On July 5th and 6th,the Girls' Soft Tennis club had a tournament in Kitashitara area.They cheered each other on before the match to boost morale.Although they were nervous, they tried to do their best.

In the team competition, they won against Toei Junior High School.

In the individual competition, they got first and third place.Total four pairs are going to join a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area.

Thank you for supporting and chreeing. We will do our best to play and support in a way that is typical of Shitara Junior High School at the tournament.

　男子ソフトテニス部は、東栄中と団体戦を行い、惜しくも敗れました。来年は、絶対に優勝旗を奪還するという気持ちでいっぱいです。個人戦の結果は２位でした。

　悔しい思いをした人は、練習態度を見直し、自分に何が足りていないのかしっかり分析しましょう。東三大会へ行く２ペアは、みんなの分も頑張って戦いましょう！

Boys' Soft Tennis Club had a tournament in Kitashitara area.In the team competition,they played against Toei Junior High School and lost.But in the individual competition, two pairs will participate in the tournament in Higashi Mikawa area.

7月５日、北設楽郡中学校体育大会　剣道の部が豊根村民体育館行われました。東三大会の男子団体は、地域移行部活動として、豊根中学校との合同チームで出場するため、本大会は個人戦のみを行いました。男子個人は、２位、３位、４位を勝ち取りました。３名が東三大会へ出場します。女子個人戦は、順位をつけるために本校の２名が戦い、勝敗を付けました。女子２名とも東三大会へ出場します。試合後は、練習会を行い、豊根中学校と一緒に練習に励みました。東三大会に向けて、精一杯練習を重ねていきたいです。

On July 5th,the Kendo club had a tournament in Kitashitara area.They were divided into boy's and girl's teams and competed individually.

Boys got second, third and fourth place.The girls got first and second place.They are going to join a tournament in Higashi Mikawa area.

In addition,boys are going to join the tournament as a joint team of Shitara Junior High School and Toyone Junior High School.

７月１２日（土）、本校体育館において、北設楽郡少年剣道大会が行われました。

例年は津具小学校体育館で行ってきた大会ですが、本年度は新城市の少年剣道クラブにも参加を呼びかけ、会場を移して開催されました。

中学校の部は豊根中学校と本校の参加です。団体戦、個人戦、どちらもリーグ戦で行い、試合の機会を多くもたせることができました。

結果は、団体戦は男女混合の3人チームで戦い、「設楽中学校Bチーム」が優勝、

個人戦は　2位、3位でした。

閉会式の折、大会長と審判長から、ご指導のお言葉をいただきました。東三大会まであと１週間です。悔いの残らないよう練習に励みます。

On July 12nd,the Kendo club had a tournament in Kitashitara and Shinshiro area.It was the first time to be at the gym of our high school.

This tournament was divided into elementary school and junior high school divisions.

They had team and individual competitions.Shitara B team got first place.And 2 students got second and third place in this tournament.

6月28日には豊川閣中学生剣道錬成大会，29日は蒲郡で武徳祭がありました。

豊川閣では，女子団体　準優勝（津具剣友会）。

武徳祭は学年別個人戦の大会で，3年男子の部　準優勝，２年女子の部　３位を飾りました。

それぞれの生徒が持ち味を発揮し，成績を残すことができました。

今週末は，郡大会があります。まずは，東三大会出場を目指して頑張ります。

On June 28th and 29th,our kendo club had two tournaments in Higashi Mikawa area.

They did their best and got second and third place in this tournament.
